Catholic Singles New Year’s Eve party guests,

The 2009 party committee is comprised of seven individuals who are again working diligently to host a successful event.

This year’s event has its own challenges. We are losing one of the co-chairman from last year and because of the current economic climate, we are in need of at least three more investors. Last year we had four people invest $1000 each. This year we feel that that is too much risk and we prefer to have seven or eight investors at $500 each.

Consequently, we are appealing to last year’s party guests in the hopes that several people will step forward to help with money and time. If we are unsuccessful in this appeal, it is highly likely that there will not be a 2009 party.

It’s a lot of fun to be on the committee but it’s also a fair amount of work. I can personally say that I have made some good friends from my involvement with the party. By the way, I’m the one leaving the committee because I’m engaged to be married later this year.

So, if you have the time or the money or both and have the inclination to help out with this event, please reply back and we’ll go from there. Thanks so much.
