This text, together with the Brochure and other
advertising materials, constitute the terms of the
agreement between you and Catholic Singles
NYE, Inc.
You are purchasing ticket(s) for yourself or for
people personally known to you to attend the
Catholic Singles New Year's Eve Dinner & Dance.
A flat $4.00 "Handling" fee will be added to each
ticket processed over the Web. (This is because
the Credit Card companies and other middle-men
all take their cut. Our margin on this event is too
narrow to absorb this additional expense.) If this
concerns you, please print the brochure and
register by snail-mail to avoid the charge.
Your credit card, etc. will immediately be charged
the full amount.
All sales are final. (We have expenses that must be
covered and unfortunately cannot accommodate
the indecisive.)
You may resell your ticket on your own to someone
you personally know, but ONLY by contacting us
first, and at our discretion and then by providing us
with the name of the new person. (Or else they
might get stuck at the door.) Your payment will
still be processed for what will become their ticket.
They will then have to reimburse you.
Rowdiness, inappropriate language or behavior,
or inappropriate attire can be grounds for refusal
of admission or ejection without recourse. This is
a non-smoking, dress-up event for adults who
are able to control their behavior and manners.
(Have not had a single problem with rowdiness nor drunkenes since the event's inception.)
All grievances must be presented in writing,
delivered or postmarked no later than 7 calendar
days after the event.(Have not had any filed
since the event's inception.)
In the case of a dispute or problem, you agree
to binding arbitration, acting as your own
representative without the use of courts or
lawyers or other paid professionals, using only
a professional arbitrator of our choosing whose
fee the losing party will cover.
This agreement is covered by Michigan law and
any problems shall be resolved under Michigan
law. Should any parts of it be found to be illegal
the rest of it shall remain in force.
We may change the terms of this agreement at any
time without notifying you, but only for the specific
purpose of protecting the integrity of this event.
Hall rental, catering, and DJ contracts bind us and
by extension YOU in regard to possible recourse
should events beyond anyone's control necessitate
the cancellation or possible rescheduling of the event.
Your financial information is accessible only by
PayPal, not by us. If you are concerned about
security or privacy, make sure your computer is
free from spyware, make sure all transactions have
"https" in the web address, and refer to the policies
posted on the PayPal website. We have access
only to the most basic information which we will use
only for the purposes of Catholic Singles New
Year's Eve, Inc.
We cannot be held responsible for misprints by
free advertising or posting services, or e-mail
forwards not under our direct control. If you have

Instructions for
Website Registration
via PayPal

Click the "Buy Now" button below to go to the
secure PayPal website. If you go to PayPal via
this button, you should see our name at the
top of the page.
Once at the PayPal website, enter either your
existing PayPal account information or enter your
credit card information. If using your own PayPal
account directly, be careful to notice whether they
are billing your credit card or your bank so as not
to get a surprise on your statement.
Complete the information requested on the form at
the PayPal website and click to review your order.
Before you click the final payment button, be sure
to look for a little blue plus sign on the order form,
next to the description "Age, Nickname, Song
Requests". Click this box and it will expand into a
text box. Enter here your age or age range (for dinner seating), and your favorite fast and slow
dancing songs. No song requests will be taken on
the night of the party. There is no guarantee they
will be played as all songs are screened and there
is limited time to play them. In this box you may
also request us to print a nick-name on your actual
name tag and we will try to oblige.
Complete the processing on the PayPal website
by clicking a Pay Now button.
Print the order completion form with your tracking
number. Check your e-mail for an order completion
message that PayPal will send to you. If you don't
receive an e-mail from PayPal you aren't
registered! Please call us if in doubt.
No physical tickets will be sent to you. Instead,
your order will be recorded on an admissions list
that will be checked at the door. Please bring ID
when you arrive. It would be a good idea also to
bring your order confirmation printout, just in case
there is a question.

FAQ's

Need to Register Yourself
and Another Person?
The form can only process one ticket at a time and only
with the name on the credit card or account.
You will have to repeat the process to obtain more than
one ticket. And all the tickets will be in your name.
There is an optional text field where you may write any
special instructions. Enter the name of the person
for whom you are buying the ticket here.
If you have special needs be sure to call or e-mail us.

Group Registrations
Sorry, no group registration discounts are being
offered this year.

Song Requests
Please send in your fast and slow dancing song
requests! The DJ will not be accepting requests the
night of the party! All song requests will be screened
and there is no guarantee that your song(s) will
be played.

Cheaper Tickets
Please don't ask us for a cheaper ticket, or scheduled
payments, or to come after dinner and pay for the
dancing only. This is a ritzy event on a major holiday.
There isn't a cheaper party of this quality
anywhere, period. We looked; this is why we are doing it
ourselves with a very narrow profit / loss margin.
It would be too hard to accommodate everyone's unique
financial situations or interests. If you can't afford
it and can't budget for it, then it isn't for you this year,
but we hope to see you in coming years.
